  • Salford City Council's Free School Meals - Find out if you are entitled to free school meals (did you know you can help out your school if you register even if your child is not going to have the meal?)
  • Family Fund provides grants to families on low incomes for a wide range of items such as washing machines, sensory toys, family breaks, clothing and bedding, outdoor play equipment, computers and tablets. Family Fund are also developing support services such as a Sleep Support Hub for families to easily access resources available in their area and Digital Skills workshops which are tailored to families who want to find out more about how their Family Fund iPad can support their child or young person. Last year,  89,423 grants or services worth over £36 million were provided to families across the UK.

Relationships 

  • Salford offer FREE online parenting & relationship courses if you are a parent, grandparent or carer for a child aged 0-19 years. There are also targeted groups run by CAMHS to support parents of children with a diagnosis of ADHD or Autism, including Post Diagnostic Autism Groups. Being a parent•Salford City Council
